What is Bar IQ’s drink-making philosophy?
In the world of drink-making there are essentially only a handful of fundamental categories from which all cocktails are derived. We teach the template for each respective family of cocktails -- making drink-making remarkably easy. These basic building blocks provide a technically sound base for riffing on classic cocktails as well as incorporating flavors of your choice like fresh, seasonal ingredients.

We can customize the subject of each seminar or create a series of classes depending on your group’s interests. For groups of more than 35 people or any other questions, please reach out: jason@bar-iq.com
*Each person on the screen counts as one person. Packages can be a mix of different types of classes. Client to purchase all supplies for their sessions. Ingredient and tool kits are available for additional cost. Rates are subject to change at any time.
“From Soup to Nuts” How do I explore my options, book a class or package, and participate in a class?
An online booking will prompt a preliminary conversation confirming the number of people in your group, cocktail selections, and who the class is for. Once the initial details are confirmed you and your group will all receive recipe cards and bar tool suggestions ahead of the class. The day of the class you will receive a zoom invitation.
What will I need to participate in a class?
Any ingredients on the recipe card we provide before the webinar and basic bar tools.
Where can I participate from?
Anywhere! As long as you have a device and wifi.
Ingredient Kits Refund Policy:
Ingredient Kits are non-refundable. In the event that the bar kit arrives damaged due to shipping issues, we will gladly help you exchange the damaged items and set you up for Home Bartending Success. Please reach out directly to jason@bar-iq.com within 2 (two) days of receipt to discuss any issues. We are not responsible for boxes delayed due to shipping issues in case they don’t make it before class time. No refund will be issued.
Bar Tool Kits Refund Policy:
Bar Tool Kits are non-refundable. In the event that the bar kit arrives damaged due to shipping issues, we will gladly help you exchange the damaged items and set you up for Home Bartending Success. Virtual Class Cancellation Policy:
Virtual Classes are non-refundable. They may be transferred to another person. Class purchase expires ONE year from purchase date.
Virtual Class Refund Policy:
100% refund will be issued if class is cancelled 14 days prior to class time. 50% refund will be issued if class is cancelled 7 days prior to class time. No refund will be issued if class is cancelled less than 7 days prior to class time. Make-up can be scheduled within 6 months of the original class date, depending on Bar IQ availability.
Gift Card Refund Policy:
Gift Cards are non-refundable. They may be transferred to another person. They do not expire.
